What a fucking game that was yesterday when UW pulled off the amazing last minute win against Marquette yesterday.I know almost every bodies brackets are fucked after a day full of upsets and impossible wins I think I heard a stat that said something like out of the 4.7 millions brackets filled out for ESPN only 56 were still perfect after only half the first round games.If today is half as good this tournament may be one for the ages or all the upsets will just lead to huge blowouts in the next round or two,but that's why they play the games and what's so great about young athletes playing for pride and not money.

I know this is a really good week for new movie rentals (Up In The Air,Where The Wild Things Are,Precious) but if you call yourself an American you really need to rent Capitalism A Love Story and get educated as to what has been slowly happening in this country for the last 50 years.Some of it you might know already know but most of it presented all at once in a simple time line is quite mind numbing and really fucking depressing which is why I know most people skip Moore's movies but like all of his movies they have to be seen,digested and then discussed so change can come about.Can you imagine our country if we would have passed Roosevelt's Second Bill of Rights or took to heart Carter's Crisis of Confidence speech in 1979.I don't know when enough is going to be enough or when people are going to wake up and just be,but I have the feeling that this is the end of living and the beginning of survival.

Please watch this speech and see what could have been if we didn't vote an actor into the leader of the free worlds position.

I really hope that The Hurt Locker wins for best picture.I haven't seen Up In The Air yet and I'm sure it's great,Jeff Bridges will probably win best actor and Monique really should win best actress for Precious but not for best picture and don't even get me started on Avatar.James Cameron just might be the most self indulgent prick in all of Holly Wood and if I would have been on some shrooms maybe I would have a different opinion but after the first thirty minutes of Avatar I was bored as hell and had to endure nearly another two and a half hours of crap.The exact opposite could be said for The Hurt Locker though what an edge of your seat perfectly made movie that really should win.

But this is a horse of a different color.That's right the Good Die Mostly Over Bullshit have put their bullshit aside and are getting back together for this reunion tour and I couldn't be happier,well I could be but not for something like a rap concert.Anyways I can still remember when I was a struggling teenager trying to pay rent and survive for the first time in my life "Soul Food" was the perfect album.The tougher life was the better that album sounded and even though Cee-Lo is a long way from the lyric "I kinda like bein' po' at least I know what my friends are here fo' " maybe there is some hope for the group after all.Tomorrow should be a great night for old hip-hop heads like me too reminisce of days past when rap actually mattered and all you young heads should come out and take notes.
