Please go rent this movie and see a true American Folk Hero,It's impossible for me to try and recreate the magic of Daniel Johnston in words but trust me my man is the real thing ask,Sonic Youth,Tom Waits,Pearl Jam,Beck,the Flaming Lips and even Nirvana,and his art is equally as good as his music but it's all just a beautiful mixture that make up his legand.This is one of those classic tale of a tortured artist who doesn't even know how great he is but at the same time he's the only one who realizes how great he is.
